"Meril Revive Busy-der Easy Show", a contest for women from the corporate world, came to an end with a grand finale at the Bangabandhu International Convention Centre on March 4.
The HSBC team -- comprising Shifat Jahan and Dilara Naznin -- came out as the winner. The BAT (British American Tobacco, Bangladesh) team -- with Nashva Binte Hamid and Nazrana Mehzabin -- was the runner-up. A total of 26 teams participated from 26 different corporate houses, namely BAT, Trust Bank, Adcomm, Aktel, Asiatic, Bank Asia, City Bank, Citycell, Eastern Bank, GMG, Grameen Distribution, HSBC, IUB, Market Access, Nielsen, Nestle, Radio Aamar, Rahimafrooz, Regency, Sheraton, Sonali Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Transcom Electronics, UIU, Warid and Westin.
“Women's participation in the corporate world is on the rise all over the world as well as in Bangladesh. To encourage the dynamic efforts of women in business, economy and education, Square Toiletries Ltd has arranged the show,” said Anjan Chowdhury, managing director, Square Toiletries Limited.
All the contestant teams were present in the gala round along with the four finalists HSBC, Dhaka Sheraton, BAT Bangladesh and Adcom. Top levels executives of various corporate houses were also present there.
For the very first time in the country, a show like Meril Revive 'Busy-der Easy Show' was launched for especially for the corporate women. This reality show began from December 4 last year on NTV.
The celebrities made the gala round most presentable ever by taking part in the programme. Corporate star Rubaba Dowla Matin, popular filmmaker Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, beauty expert Farzana Shakil, singer Bappa Majumder, magician Jewel Aich, among others, were present at the function.
